- Assume the user refers to policies, roles, permissions, and user authentication systems
- Identity and Access Management (enterprise) corporate IT, security frameworks
- Trigger discussion of single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, or directory services
- IAM database bioinformatics, genetics
- Reference the International Allele Database or similar genomic identifier systems
- I AM presence religious or spiritual texts
- Retrieve theological discussions, often from Exodus or New Age sources
Where people and models part ways
“I am locked out”

Say instead: “I cannot log into my account on this website”
“I am who I say I am”
Meant: I am being honest about my identity
May be taken as: Interpret as a request to verify identity via IAM credentials or tokens

“I am ready”
Meant: I am prepared to proceed
May be taken as: Search for an 'I AM' readiness check in cloud deployment tools
Say instead: “I am prepared to proceed with our conversation”
Tips
- Say 'I am' as two separate words with a space if you mean the English phrase
- Specify 'AWS IAM' or 'cloud permissions' if you mean the technical service
- Add context like 'spiritually' or 'personally' to steer away from technical readings
- Use 'I exist' or 'my name is' to avoid ambiguity entirely
- In security contexts, say 'access management' rather than the abbreviation
